Dr. John McDonald has been my dentist for more than twenty years. The care I have received has been exceptional. He has seen me through routine examines, tooth whitening and various other procedures. Most importantly, I have never dreaded a visit to the dentist! Whether an emergency or scheduled appointment, I have never been refused or kept waiting. I’m a 53 year-old woman who had six front teeth done with veneers. It’s the best thing I could have done for myself. I should have had it done years ago. I don’t mind looking at myself in the mirror anymore. To me, before I had my front teeth fixed, I was not very attractive. When I smiled I showed my ugly teeth, I would cover my mouth to hide my teeth. Not anymore!!!
I went to Kentucky to visit my niece who lives there.
She and her sister are both a bit younger than I. My niece being a good host took us to a restaurant on the water. We had dinner, and then went out on the decks where they had entertainment and dancing. Here I am the oldest of the group, but I got hit on twice. How’s that for an ego boost. Instead of sitting and covering my mouth, which was what I normally did, I was smiling and talking and having a great time. I believe these new veneers have changed my life. I now have a new attitude. I believe they make me look younger too.

Growing up I was always self conscious about the way my teeth looked. I had spaces in between them and they were discolored. I would never smile for the camera, it was always more of a smirk. Dr. McDonald suggested Veneers that would close the gaps and get rid of the discoloration.
A few painless easy visits to Dr. McDonald and I had the smile I always wanted. I have had the veneers for approximately seven years now. I have never had a problem with them and I have never regretted having them done. I strongly suggest anyone who is not happy with their smile to let Dr. McDonald give you the smile you want.

I had just turned 50 and was feeling more self-conscious that when I smiled my teeth were “looking old” My front tooth that had been chipped as a child was protruding along with the tooth beside it. I could feel this against my lip. The molars on one side of the mouth appeared smaller and were discolored from fillings causing a miss-match with the crowns on the other side of my mouth. Dr. McDonald and I discussed how veneers could provide the corrections I was looking for as well as balance the color across my entire smile. The results were astounding! I immediately felt 15 years younger with a more youthful dental presentation when I smiled. This has clearly been a cosmetic investment that “keeps on giving”.
